Once again PayPal is the number one choice for phishers , it being on the receiving end of more than half of all phishing attacks during the first quarter of 2010. Second place, not unexpectedly, fell to eBay with 13.3%. Facebook is one of the most popular social networking website for phishers.
The report also found that spam represents about 85 percent of all e-mail traffic and that Asia remains the leading source of spam by geographical region, while the individual countries serving as the top sources are the U.S., India, and Russia.
