Facebook Announced A New Facebook Connect For iPhone
On Saturday 14 March, 2009 Facebook announced its Facebook connect service for iPhone at SXSW Interactive conference in Austin. Facebook connect for iPhone is available with several participating applications that run on iPhone. iPhone users can use Facebook connect on their iPhone in the same way as they were using on the web. To use Facebook on iPhone Simply download any application featuring Facebook Connect and log in using your Facebook account from your iPhone. Then, you’ll be able to easily find your Facebook friends. They will be able to see the same profile information as they can on the site, controlled by your privacy settings. You can also share what you’re doing with your iPhone applications with all of your Facebook friends by publishing stories back to your profile.
Applications that are utilizing Facebook connect on iPhone includes Urban Spoon and the game, "Who Has the Biggest Brain". Urban Spoon allows users to post restaurant pictures and reviews on Facebook.
