Taking backup of Firefox profile is really a painful job if you try to it manually. It’s very easy also to by just locating the Firefox directory on your computer and copy that Firefox profile and take a backup and now you can use this Firefox profile to some other computer or you can can use it your own computer. But there is also one free utility available that can do all the backup and restore task for you. it’s MozBackup. MozBackup can also be used to take backup of Firefox,Thunderbird,SeaMonkey,Mozilla Suite and Netscape browsers backup.

Firefox is now also available for mobile phones also.This new mobile version of Firefox code name as “Fennec”. Firefox mobile version is intended for developers only it is in its early alpha stage.Mozilla recommends Mobile version Firefox only for Nokia N8 10 devices. Fennec is although is not ready for the user testing but developers can experiment on web browsing user interface design of Fennec, its very easy to modify and developers can do a lot of things with code of Fennec.

According to the Symantec Corporation Mozilla’s Internet web browser Firefox[updated] has the highest number of security holes in the year 2007. There are 122 security holes are found in the year 2007. Its rival Microsoft Internet Explorer has only 57 security holes. One reason behind the more security holes in Firefox[Updated] is its popularity over the Internet explorer.
Web browser security is main concern because their role in the spyware and adware propagation. Web browser come first in contact with any type of security attack that has been tried over the internet as compare to other application. Browsers can also be used for client side attack by using their plug in functionality because these plugin can be used to invoke the client applications.

Firefox 3 Beta 3 is now available for download. This download is intended for developers and for testers.Firefox 3 Beta 3 inculdes some security improvements, user interface and first time they have given the windows themeing effects.
Bookmark dialog is integrated with URL bar like that has in IE7. Now users can directly bookmark the URL’s.This button is given as the star button in the url bar.
Windows Theming: Firefox 3 Beta 3 provides the first look at the windows theming.New icons has been added for windows as well for Linux versions of Firefox 3 Beta 3.
Now you can move tabs around while browsing.Beta 3 adds the download information bar in the browser it self this means that when you close the download window you see the download stats in the browser it self.
User’s can search the add on’s from addons.mozilla.org and they can download the add on and install it. This is the main improvement that I see in Beta 3.
