Rafael Nadal: All you need to know

For a teenage boy, being told you must choose between your love of football and talent in tennis would seem agonising - but Rafael Nadal has no reason to regret his choice.

The 22-year-old, born June 3 1986, was a gifted striker but his sacrifice of one game has paid off in another eight years on. His marathon match against Roger Federer on Sunday, which saw him become Wimbledon mens’ champion for the first time, is just his latest feat in the tennis world.

He received the Turing Award in 1983 and the National Medal of Technology in 1998. Ritchie was the head of Lucent Technologies System Software Research Department when he retired in 2007.

Father of C++ Programming Language

Bjarne Stroustrup-Father of C++ Programming Language Bjarne Stroustrup (born June 11 or December 30, 1950 in Aarhus, Denmark) is a computer scientist and the College of Engineering Chair Professor of Computer Science at Texas A&M University. He is most notable for developing the C++ programming language.Stroustrup developed C++ in 1979, in his own words, Invented C++, wrote its early definitions, and produced its first implementation. chose and formulated the design criteria for C++, designed all its major facilities, and was responsible for the processing of extension proposals in the C++ standards committee.Stroustrup also wrote what many consider to be the standard text for the language, The C++ Programming Language, which is now in its third edition. The text has been revised twice to reflect the evolution of the language and the work of the C++ standards committee.

Father of FORTON Programming Language

John Warner Backus-Father of FORTON Programming Language John Warner Backus (December 3, 1924 – March 17, 2007) was an American computer scientist. He led the team that invented the first widely used high-level programming language (FORTRAN) and was the inventor of the Backus-Naur form (BNF), the almost universally used notation to define formal language syntax. He also did research in function-level programming and helped to popularize it.John Backus made another, critical contribution to early computer science: During the latter part of the 1950s Backus served on the international committees which developed ALGOL 58 and the very influential ALGOL 60, which quickly became the de facto worldwide standard for publishing algorithms. Backus developed the Backus-Naur Form (BNF), in the UNESCO report on ALGOL 58. This was a formal notation with which one could describe any context-free programming language and was important in the development of compilers. This contribution helped Backus win the Turing Award.

Father of JAVA Programming Language

James Gosling- Father of JAVA Programming Language James A. Gosling, O.C., Ph.D. (born May 19, 1955 near Calgary, Alberta, Canada) is a famous software developer, best known as the father of the Java programming language. He is generally credited as the inventor of the Java programming language in 1991. He did the original design of Java and implemented its original compiler and virtual machine. In 1977, James Gosling received a B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Calgary. In 1983, he earned a Ph.D in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, and his doctoral thesis was titled “The Algebraic Manipulation of Constraints”. While working towards his doctorate, he wrote a version of emacs (gosmacs), and before joining Sun Microsystems he built a multi-processor version of Unix while at Carnegie Mellon University, as well as several compilers and mail systems.Since 1984, Gosling has been with Sun Microsystems, and is generally known best as the founder of the Java programming language.

GIRLS BE CAREFUL

Trial rooms any where GIRLS BE CAREFUL

Have you seen recent advertisement of M/S SAINT GOBAIN GLASSES shown in TELEVISION’S - Then you must have known about 2 Way mirror)How to determine if a mirror is 2 ways or not? (Not a Joke!)Not to scare you, but to make sure that you aware. Many of the Hotels and Textile showrooms cheat the customers this way.

HOW TO DETECT A 2-WAY MIRROR?

When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms, etc.,how many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, or actually a 2-way mirror I.e., they can see you, but you can’t see them. There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms or bathroom or bedrooms. It is very difficult to positively identify the surface by just looking at it. So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of mirror we are looking at?

CONDUCT THIS SIMPLE TEST:

Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is a GENUINE mirror. However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE, IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR! (There may be someone seeing you from the other side). So remember, every time you see a mirror, do the “fingernail test.” It doesn’t cost you anything. It is simple to do.This is a really good thing to do. The reason there is a gap on a real mirror, is because the silver is on the back of the mirror UNDER the glass.Whereas with a two-way mirror, the silver is on the surface. Keep it in mind! Make sure and check every time you enter in hotel rooms.

When It Comes To Earning Money

Tomato Story
A Jobless man applied for the position of “office boy” at Microsoft.
The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test.
“You are employed” he said. Give me your e-mail address and I’ll send you the application to fill in, as well as date when you may start.
The man replied “But I don’t have a computer, neither an email”. “I’m sorry”, said the HR manager. If you don’t have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn’t exist, cannot have the job.”
The man left with no hope at all. He didn’t know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10Kg tomato crate.
He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In less than two hours,
he succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the operation three times,
and returned home with $60.
The man realized that he can survive by this way, and started to go everyday earlier, and return late. Thus, his money doubled or tripled everyday.
Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles.
5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers in theUS .
He started to plan his family’s future, and decided to have a life insurance.
He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan.
When the conversation was concluded the broker asked him his email.
The man replied,”I don’t have an email.”
The broker answered curiously, “You don’t have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an e mail?!!” The man thought for a while and replied, “Yes, I’d be an office boy at Microsoft!”

Moral of the story Moral 1
Internet is not the solution to your life.
Moral 2
If you don’t have Internet, and work hard, you can be a millionaire.

Gates’ Rules

bilgates-readerszone-com Gates RulesBill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!
Rule 2: The world won’t care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3: You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won’t be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
Rule 6: If you mess up, it’s not your parents’ fault, so don’t whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren’t as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent’s generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they’ll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn’t bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don’t get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.
Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you’ll end up working for one.

Cheers!!!

Warren Buffet (who is the world second richest man)

There was a one hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity. Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:

  •  He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!
  • He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.
  • He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.
  • He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.
  • He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world’s largest private jet company.
  • His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis.  He has given his CEO’s only two rules.
    • Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder’s money.
    • Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.

  • He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some popcorn and watch Television.
  • Bill Gates, the world’s richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.
  • Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk. His advice to young people:

Remember:

  1. Money doesn’t create man but it is the man who created money.
  2. Live your life as simple as you is.
  3. Don’t do what others say, just listen to them, but do what you feel good.
  4. Don’t go on brand names; just wear those things in which u feel comfortable.
  5. Don’t waste your money on unnecessary things; just spend them on who are really in need, rather.
  6. After all it’s your life then “why do we give a chance to others to rule our lives”
