Google supports data portability. By accessing Content through the Contacts Data API or Portable Contacts API for use in your service or application, you are agreeing to enable your users to export their contacts data to other services or applications of their choice in a way that’s substantially as fast and easy as exporting such data from Google Contacts, subject to applicable laws.

However this does not mean that we can not add our Gmail Friends to Facebook. Facebook users can use “Find Your Gmail Friends on Facebook”  url to add their Gmail Friends in Facebook. For adding Gmail contacts in Facebook follow these simple steps :

First we need to export the Gmail contacts. To export Gmail Contacts please follow steps mentioned below :

1. Sign in to Gmail.
2. Click Contacts along the side of any Gmail page.
3. From the More actions drop-down menu, select Export….
4. Choose whether to export all contacts or only one group.
5. Select the format in which you’d like to export your contacts’ information. Please note, some of these formats can lose some contact information.

1. To transfer contacts between Google accounts, use the Google CSV format. This is the recommended way to back up your Google Contacts.
2. To transfer contacts to Outlook, Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, or various other apps, use the Outlook CSV format.
3. To transfer contacts to Apple Address Book, use the vCard format.
   

Now login into Facebook and go to “Find Your Gmail Friends on Facebook” page and Upload your ‘google.csv’ file to Facebook using the uploader .

Microsoft Office Outlook allows you to display a second time zone in your Calendar by selecting the Show an additional time zone check box in the Time Zone dialog box. The second time zone is used only to show a second time bar in Calendar view and does not affect the way Calendar items are stored or displayed.

Steps for adding additional Time Zone

1. Right click on calendar and select change time zone
   
2. Select show a second time zone
   

Apart from showing additional time zone, you can also swap time zones.

The additional time zone is not affected by the current time zone settings; it is completely separate

To fix the line spacing and paragraph spacing in Word 2007 and 2010 so that it is the same as in earlier versions of Word, you have to change the Style Set option.
To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click the Home tab.
2. Click Change Styles in the Styles group, point to Style Set, and then click the style set that you want to use.
   To change the default formatting of your document, such as the line spacing and paragraph spacing, to the default formatting that is used in earlier versions of Word, click Word 2003.
3. To set the style set as the default style set in Word 2007 and 2010, click Change Styles in the Styles group, and then click Set as Default.

Phishing is a technique used to gain personal information for the purpose of identity theft, using fraudulent e-mail messages that appear to come from legitimate organizations such as banks. These authentic-looking messages/ e-mails are designed to lure recipients into divulging account data like login details, passwords, credit card numbers etc. Once they get your details, they access your account and misuse it.

How to recognize a Phishing Email ?

• You are asked to provide personal information such as bank account/ credit card number/ PIN number/ password/ mother’s maiden name, etc.
• The message uses scare tactics, warning that your account is being shut down until you provide verifying information.
• The text contains spelling or grammatical errors.

How to Deal With Phishing Email ?

• Don’t give out personal information unless you are sure you know the person you are dealing with.
• Never click a link that offers to take you to the organization’s website. Always check an organization’s website by typing its URL in the address line rather than copying and pasting it.
• Avoid using information such as mother’s name, your date of birth, your phone number, your vehicle number or name of your child, etc, as an online password.
• Create a strong password using alpha-numeric combinations. Look for padlock icon on the browser status that ensures that your information is secure during transmission
• After you have completed a secure online transaction, sign out of the site right away. Do not just close the window. Don’t store financial information on a laptop computer unless absolutely necessary.
• Don’t use an automatic login feature that saves your user name and password.
• Before disposing off a computer or hard disk, delete all personal information stored in it.
• Register for mobile SMS alerts to keep yourself updated. If you have provided your personal information mistakenly, inform your bank/ financial institution immediately about the situation. Also log in to your relevant account and change your username and password.
• If you receive such an e-mail, do not respond to it. Forward the same to your bank or Credit Card provider and delete the e-mail immediately.

One story per video

Instead of having one video that contains multiple segments covering several different stories of the day, it’s a better user experience (and easier for us to index), when there is one story per video, and the video title is specific (not something generic like “Breaking News”). At the very least, the description of the video should match the first story in the video.

Categorization

If you are providing general news coverage, select YouTube category “News & Politics” (which is youtube_category_id 25) when uploading your video. If you have multiple channels, clearly identify each category (politics, business, entertainment, sports, etc.).

More detailed descriptions

Similar to the first paragraph of a news article, descriptions of the news video should convey the who, what, when, where, and why of the story in a few sentences — the more detail you can supply, the better.

Rich tags

Another way to convey the content of the video is using the keyword tags. Providing keywords that might not be in the description gives us more knowledge of what the video is about. Especially helpful are proper nouns: the names of the people, places, companies, etc. mentioned in the video.

Make it Embeddable

Be sure your video is embeddable on other sites since this is currently a technical requirement for being displayed in Google News. Additionally, if your videos are geo-blocked in certain regions, they will not appear in Google News.
