CareerForward, Microsoft’s online career development course available free

The Redmond company has introduced online career development course named CareerForward that is hosted by Microsoft. this initiative is taken by the  Microsoft’s U.S. Partners to increase the learning in the students so that they can have more career choices. So Microsoft is ready to host and now aim is to convince representatives. Microsoft has planned to  implement the program over 30 countries worldwide.

Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm said

“This course will help students understand how to thrive in a global economy,” It also will teach them to learn online — something they’ll need to do throughout their work lives.

CareerForward is designed to provide a framework for students and teachers to use as they explore possibilities and learn how to prepare for the future. The CareerForward program takes on the challenge of assisting students as they prepare for careers in the global market. CareerForward focus on technology, carrier opportunities, global competition, motivation, education and provide a  framework for students to explore opportunities and possibilities.The program contains about 20 hour-long online sessions & help students to create an Educational Development Plan(EDP). The program contains four structured module.

Anthony Salcito, general manager of U.S. Public Sector Education at Microsoft said-


“Students and the career choices they make are critical to the talent pipeline and future business prosperity in the U.S.,CareerForward encourages the development of a skilled work force, as it helps young citizens explore global opportunities and recognize the importance of technology in jobs of the future.”
