Sales of Samsung Star Mobile Phone Surpass 10 Million Units Worldwide
Samsung Electronics announced that the sales of Samsung Star Mobile phone surpassed the 10 Million mark this month. The Star (model number S5230), launched in May, is the fastest model in Samsung’s history to reach the milestone.
Samsung star is the sixth Samsung Mobile phone to sell 10 million units, other than Samsun star Samsung T-100, Samsung E700, Samsung D500, Samsung J700 and Samsung E250 surpassed the 10 million mark.
Across Europe, where it was first launched, the Star has sold 5 million units in total.The model has also sold strongly in Latin America (1.6 million), the Commonwealth of Independent States (900,000) and China (800,000). Most notably, the Star has topped the bestseller lists in the United Kingdom, Italy and the Netherlands.
