Google India organizing a conference for webmasters on their Bangalore office at 28th February 2009 called Searchmasters 2009. The Google SearchMasters Conference 2009 is a place where webmasters can find answers to all their questions. Google Searchmasters 2009 is a full day event with presentations and an interactive sessions with Google’s Search Specialists and Product Managers.

Google Searchmasters conference is a free event for webmasters. Google has sent invites to webmasters to attend this event and in turn can request an additional invite from Google and pass it on to their friends.
According to Amit Agarwal some of Indian bloggers also got the invite from Google India to attend the Google SearchMasters 2009 conference.

Hi, Even some one gets a invites from google but they could not transfer you as your google participation policy.
I have got invitation from google for SearchMaster2009 but I am not using it since I am going to SearchCamp in Chennai for both days (28 feb and 1st March) but I can not help you guys since can not transfer my invitation to you.
