Recently Google Adsense is showing malware advertisements on publisher’s websites, including websites like Mashable. Now attackers using Google’s AdWords program to spread Rogue XP AntiVirus 2008. The Rogue XP AntiVirus 2008 is not an AntiVirus software programs instead of protecting your computer system this program shows pop-up messages, false scan reports reporting for viruses and redirect users to websites that sell some other sophisticated malware programs.
Sunbelt, Malware Research lab has described Rogue XP AntiVirus 2008 as a security risk. Rogue XP AntiVirus 2008 collect, transmit, and share potentially sensitive data without adequate notice and consent.

Forged results of this AntiVirus program is displayed on Google search results and on top keywords including “AntiVirus and remove AntiVirus XP”
Google has to figure out some mechanism to stop attackers to spreading malware and other security threats using Google Adsense and Google AdWords
