Often people love to use keyboard with the favorite browser based application like Google Reader. Google reader offers a set of key board shortcuts that makes accessing Google reader really easy with keyboard. Google reader divided shortcuts in four categories Navigation, Action, Jumping and Application Here is the list of all Google reader keyboard shortcuts

Google Reader Navigation Shortcuts

j/k Next/Previous item.
space Next item or page.
Shift + space: previous item or page
n/p item scan down/up (list only)
Shift + n/p next/previous subscription
Shift + x expand folder
Shift + o open subscription or folder

Google Reader Acting on items Shortcuts

s Star item
Shift+S Share Item.
v View original
t Tag item
m mark item as read/unread
o/enter expand/collapse item (list only)
Shift + a mark all as read
e email item
shift+d share item with note

Google Reader Jumping Shortcuts

g then h Go home
g then a Go to all items.
g then s go to starred items
g then Shift + s go to shared items
g then u open subscription selector
g then t open tag selector
g then Shift + t go to trends page
g then d go to discovery page
g then f open friend selector
g then Shift + f go to friends’ shared items

u toggle full screen mode.
1 switch to expanded view
2 switch to list view
/ move cursor to search box

= increase magnification
- decrease magnification
