Google release new desktop Docs gadget
Google has made a lot of improvement with Google Apps this year. Google Inc. has added a new feature that will enable users to find and access their Google documents direct from their desktop. The gadget has associated with a tool for drag-and-drop uploading documents to convert them to Google Docs. Now this gadget is available to work with Windows and Linux versions of Google Desktop Gadgets, as well as Google Apps work accounts.
By using Its drag-and-drop uploading feature users will be able to convert file to Google Docs, that’s a great improvement because it will allow users to upload a bunch of files quickly by dragging and dropping instead of doing one-by-one. Google Docs Gadget is a free Web-based suite that includes word processing, spreadsheets and presentation applications James Yam said.

Updated Google Docs Gadget for the Desktop, the new tool is the new big brother to the Docs gadget in Gmail. There are times when we just need to bring up the same few documents continually throughout the day. Some examples are a data entry spreadsheet, a technical manual, or that steamy romance novel you’ve been secretly penning during work hours. You can instead bring up the gadget and, in an instant, search and open your Google documents.

Creating a googledoc form, where I need each response to be numbered automatically. Should be a running number starting from 10001. Can anyone help, please. Thanks
