In the past five years Gmail team has added a number of features Gmail Chat, Video Chat.Apart from all these features Gmail labs has 43 experimental features.To make Gmail more responsive and user friendly Gmail team has completely redesigned the architecture of Gmail and they started using HTML,JavaScript and XML that later called as AJAX.
