Google added a new tool called “Font previewer” in Google Font directory. This tool allows you to preview and customize fonts before you use. Now you can check out how the text on your site will actually look like with the font you selected. More importantly, you can customize the finer aspects of the font from the preview page. You can change things like the its default size, add shadows and transformations like Uppercase, Underline and so on. You can also adjust the spacing between letters, words and lines. Overall, there are enough options to get exactly what you’re looking for and all of this doesn’t involve fiddling with any code.As of now Google Font directory just have 18 fonts for you.
