Google has added another layer of security to Google Apps. Google Apps administrators now can set the password length requirements according to their needs. The other thing is really useful is Google has also added a feature that will show the strength of password in a graphical manner.
Google Account authentication system continuously sees new variations of password attacks from around the world. Administrators can see the real time password strength of their Google Apps users and Google Apps Administrators can easily point out the users having week passwords.
Currently Google apps has access to only authorized users have access to information accessible from the cloud, including SSL options, single sign-on capabilities, and administrative controls for how widely users can share and publish information from Google Docs, Google Sites and Google Calendar.
Premier and Education Edition administrators can access these features from the administrative control panel under ‘Advanced Tools’ > ‘Advanced Password Settings’.
