It’s highly doubtful that just 10 terrorists were responsible for the well-planned attacks on Mumbai, as is claimed by our government. It is very likely that assistance from other terrorists was necessary, and it’s clear that the organization that was responsible has set the bar high for copycats the world over: simultaneous attacks in several sites, with hostage-taking and explosives and grenades, which paralyzed an enormous city for two and a half days. While there have been a few multiple-casualty terror attacks since September 11, 2001 (including in Bali, London and Madrid), the Mumbai attack was apparently the most sophisticated of these.

Its reallly a good study on the attack portraying many terrible plans.

I as an engineer say that for a country like india which has set milestone in engineering by manufacturing a wonder-car of cost in 0.1 million INR (rupees) making entire world to astonish, the terror plot of mumbai is not a very complex uncrackable activity this could have been handled still nicely without any or very less casualities with use of high tech solutions as mentioned below.

My personal openion says that the since india being a gr8 source of IT geeks and technocrats government should have consulted these IT technocrats/engineers for the best ideas to use the mini and micro robots (i read in an article these r already used in US army for help of intelligence bureaou) of size less than 3 inch which r enabled with sensors and high resolution cameras, these could have helped a lot for the anti terrorist squad to understand their moves to catch the terrorists more easily.

Its makes us feel really sad to read that our politicians think only of incrasing number of such ATS special squad rather than thinking for advanced tech solutions for such incidents.

Hoping for a change in INDIA.

    Jai Hind.
