BSNL has launched a service called BlacMail. BlacMail is basically a service that allows you to send and receive email instantly on your phone without any GPRS support. BlacMail works on most Java based phones, and most Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samsung phones should support BlacMail. BlacMail Email service also works with corporate ID also.
BlacMail comes with a unique feature called Whitelist. This feature allows you to receive mails from a group of selected contacts only. BlacMail then forwards only mails that are from these sources, allowing you to control your credit by saving on mails from unknown or unimportant senders.
For example: you can choose to receive mails only from job sites like naukri.com and monster.com. You can also choose to receive mails from a particular email ID only.

You can download BlacMail from BSNL website either to your PC (after which you’ll need to transfer it to your phone via a data cable) or through GPRS directly to your phone! You can also get BlacMail from a friend who already has it through Bluetooth. BSNL customers can also download BlacMail onto a compatible phone by sending the following SMS (“BM ACTIVATE”) to 50046 (toll-free) and following the simple instructions for activating the service instantly
