Facebook Connect : Connecting Nearly 1 Million Users
Facebook connect rocking because it is now close to 1 million user base. In December 2008 Facebook connect 100,000 users using Facebook connect. Currently we only have a sampling of applications that have Facebook Connect installed. According to Facebook, over 6,000 developers have leveraged Facebook Connect.
Most of webmaster and website owners integrating Facebook connect to their websites is just because of fact that if offers an easy to communicate with large audience and most importantly Facebook is largest social network over the internet.
Recently Facebook connect is implemented Facebook connect in Oscar and may be they are also planning to integrate Facebook into The Presidential Address at CNN. Nana 10, an Israeli television station, implemented Facebook Connect for their Presidential election coverage, and now they will be using it with their live stream of the television show, Survivor.
Apple iPhoto is one of the largest drivers behind the success of Facebook attracting approximately half million user base to Facebook connect. their are not much implementation. The average large Facebook connect implementation has 2,500 to 8,000 users.
