SpotM: Yahoo India Launches Social Network for the Youth

Yahoo has announced that it is launching a Social network for 16-24 age bracket users in India named as “SpotM”. SpotM is currently in private beta. Their is no clear announcement from Yahoo India how they will ensure that SpotM users are the age group of 16-24 as Yahoo India saying,but Yahoo believe that they can manage this problem. According to Pluggd.in SpotM has added two completely different features in SpotM as compare to other social network websites

Secret Friend: As SpotM is a social networking websites offering users to make friends but the thing is that if users chooses their friends as private then other users don’t know about their relationship.
SMS Integration with Anonymous Chat: SMS Chat will let users to send SMS to their friends without revealing their phone number.
