Features Windows 7 May Have

Windows 7 Some days back Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates announces that we can expect Windows 7 in next year i.e. 2009. This time windows development team is much more quite. Microsoft is talking too much about Windows 7 and also I think they don’t want to create same hype that Microsoft has created just before the launch of Windows Vista and that finally comes to be big blunder for Microsoft. I found some points that can be included in Windows 7 or we can expect from Microsoft that these may be there in Windows 7.

Following features may come With Windows 7

Windows 7 Small in size: Windows Vista loads every thing when you install Windows Vista, whether you need it or not it will install for you. In Windows 7 we can expect that Windows 7 will not install every operating system service and feature. Running minimum service is also makes your system more secure as well as you get a better performance

Windows 7 Boots Faster: Windows XP defiantly boots faster then Windows Vista. It sounds like a litter problem for windows users but a plenty of users complaint about slow booting of vista to Microsoft. We can expect that Windows 7 may boot faster then as compare windows vista and if we get windows booting faster then windows XP then it’s really great for windows users.

Simple User account Panel: Security is most important feature is any operating system. Windows Vista is more secure as compare to any previous version of Windows operating system. Vista’s repeated pop-up from user account control is not helping users. Windows 7 can have asked once in installing any software. User can save common security settings that they use frequently. Like mobile users use wireless internet connection so it won’t ask to frequently for connecting and disconnecting for Wireless connection.

More online and offline components: Windows XP lacks some preinstalled components and vista wins the race here. We can accept more tools and utilities can come with windows 7 but they don’t give us as preinstalled. We can except Windows 7 will have some more new preinstalled application that will address need of online storage, online backup and cloud computing. More support for running web applications may be included in Internet explorer.

Multimedia Support: All versions of windows lack multimedia applications. Windows vista only has the Windows media center. There are a lot of third party applications that are available for windows to support multimedia applications but Microsoft is to slow to adopt them in to their Windows operating system. We can also accept some more new features and enhancements in Windows media center that can come with Windows 7.

But what’s more important is what Microsoft needs to not change in this release - which is compatibility. Vista represented a big enough change that nearly all security programs, a number of drives, and a surprising number of applications from Windows XP didn’t work or didn’t’ work completely right. By now, the third party developers have pretty much fixed all that, so a new version of Windows that didn’t have all those issues would be much easier for corporate users in particular to finally accept. For such users, it doesn’t have to be flashy - just an easy upgrade from XP with a little better security and manageability.
