Symantec Acquires PC Tools
On August 18,2008 Symantec announced that it has Acquires PC Tools. PC Tools is an Australia based security software manufacture. Symantec wanted to expand its business to more markets and PC tools is just a perfect for them. PC Tools has offices in U.S.,U.K., Ireland and Ukraine. This makes a global reach of Symantec. PC Tools will continue to offer their products under the PC Tools brand and serve its customers through its existing partners and channels.
