  • Login to Hiimok using your twitter user name and password.
  • Select gift from a set of gifts.
  • Type in your friends just as if you would on Twitter (and a short message). Example: @partridge … hey buddy here’s a gift for you.
    Your are limited to 101 characters.

Hiimok is in beta and they are adding more and more gift options in their service

Google Webmaster Toolkit On Friday 20 June 23, 2008, Google open up it’s Webmaster tools for third party web developers. This is the initial version of Webmaster toolkit from Google to third party developers. The supported features in the first version of the Webmaster Tools API are the following:

  • Managing Sites

    • Retrieve a list of your sites in Webmaster Tools
    • Add your sites to Webmaster Tools
    • Verify your sites in Webmaster Tools
    • Remove your sites from Webmaster Tools
  • Working with Sitemaps
    • Retrieve a list of your submitted Sitemaps
    • Add Sitemaps to Webmaster Tools
    • Remove Sitemaps from Webmaster Tools

    Although the current API offers a limited subset of all the functionality that Webmaster Tools provides, this is only the beginning. Get started with the Developer’s Guide for the Webmaster Tools Data API to begin working with the API.

    Internet Explore and Delicious users now start using a Add-on for Delicious. The add-on was released in beta last month, but is now apparently finalized. This New Add-on makes a tight integration with Internet Explorer making it easy to search, sort, and view your bookmarks.. It automatically syncs throughout the day with your del.icio.us account and makes it easy to keep your bookmarks at your fingertips on any computer you use.

    After installation is done Internet Explore users have to restart the browser.

    Windows Embedded NavReady 2009: An Operating System for Portable Navigation Devices

    Windows Embedded NavReady 2009 On 17 June 17, 2008, Microsoft announced its first operating system for portable devices. Windows Embedded NavReady makes power portable navigation devices more web friendly, easy connection to internet as well as online services and allows portable navigation devices to connect to other devices using Bluetooth. Windows Embedded NavReady is based on Windows Embedded CE.

    Microsoft has included Live Search in their new Operating system to help users to easily find content on internet.

    Windows Embedded also synchronizes with MSN Direct, to help users to get updated from traffic conditions and many other things. 

    Windows Embedded NavReady allows Portable navigation devices to be used as secondary screens using Microsoft technology called as "SlideShow".

    People having Bluetooth enabled mobile devices will be able to pair them with new NavReady 2009-based PNDs for hands-free phone book access, audio and video remote control, dial-up networking and to make hands-free phone calls and data connections.

    Sony will add Google search to it’s PSP in it’s upcoming update v4.00. On Play Station’s officials blog

    This new upgrade replicates the Google Internet search experience, delivering the same search results that you’d get at www.google.com. And with a search history recall of 20 items, Web searches couldn’t be easier.

    After you download and install the firmware on your PSP, click on the XMB’s Network icon and then the new Internet Search icon. Enter your keywords and then let Google’s algorithms do the work. You’ll need to be connected to the Internet via a wireless access point or Wi-Fi hotspot. Googling something on the go has never been more convenient on your PSP.
