Spyware Detection and Removal Guide Currently around 80% of computers connected to internet are infected with spyware. For working securely on internet you must know the symptoms of spyware and how to remove spyware from your computer. If your computer starts to behave strangely or displays any of the symptoms listed below, you may have spyware or other unwanted software installed on your computer.

 

Computer is Slow: If your computer is working slowly as compare to its normal speed then there may be chances that your computer is infected with spyware. If some programs are crashing to frequently then it might be the chance that your computer is infected with spyware.


Computer Settings changed: Some unwanted spyware programs are able to change your computer’s settings like desktop wallpaper, default search engine, home page and many other default settings. If even a user know how to reset these settings, if you are not able to rollback default settings then there might be spyware sitting in your computer.

Receiving and Sending Many E-Mails: If you are receiving a lot many email’s or email’s are send to your address book contacts without your knowledge. So it might be the case that a Trojan spyware may send emails from your email account and spreading your email account to spammers.

Pop-up are coming: Some spyware’s bombard you with pop-up ads that aren’t related to a particular Web site you’re visiting. Pop-up ads opening automatically in new browser windows while clicking URL’s of webpage’s then it might be chance that your computer is infected with spyware. If you see pop-up ads as soon as you turn on your computer or when you’re not even browsing the Web, you may have spyware or other unwanted software on your computer.

Unwanted Browser Components are installed: Some spyware programs install unwanted toolbar or browser extension and if you go to uninstall that extension, your computer may restart or get some unexpected results.
