Defragmenter? Why can't Windows filesystem be like Linux ext2 or ext3, ext2 predates even Windows 95, no defragmenter necessary. Anyway, I suggest CCleaner for getting rid of useseless temporary files Windows stores for no reason, and Ad-Aware for getting rid of any trojans and other weird stuff that slows down the system and gives you adverts.

Also using Firefox and Adblock Plus instead of Internet Explorer is a strong protection against unwanted viral infections, not to mention HostsMan, that let's you ban sites that are known hazards, with of course basic ban file included.

Only thing I can say against it, that it bans download.com and dw.com, which are used by many freeware sites. You have to edit the hosts-file to allow those sites if you want to use them. I've never gotten any trojan or viruses from those sites, but HostsMan bans them for some reason by default.
