HP has released the Software Update for the HP MediaSmart Server. This update delivers enhanced media streaming capability from PacketVideo, server-side anti-virus protection from McAfee and prepares the HP MediaSmart Server for compatibility with 64-bit operating systems. 64-bit support requires Microsoft’s Windows Home Server PowerPack1 update.
To get this software update:
- Double-click the Windows Home Server icon
in the task tray. - Log on to the Windows Home Server.
- On the Windows Home Server Console, click the MediaSmart Sever tab and then click Check for updates .
