Airtel, Official broadband sponsor of IPL on YouTube offering free upgrade to 2mbps speed upgrade to all its broadband customers. All Airtel broadband customers will be automatically upgraded to 2mbps speed, only for http://youtube.com/ipl from 12th March to 25th April. While there are no additional charges for the speed increase, the user WILL be charged for data transfer.
If you are using unlimited plan of Airtel broadband then watching cricket on YouTube make some sense.

YouTube has added a new feature called Safety Mode, enabling users to get more controlled YouTube experience. Although this Safety Mode is nice feature but i would like to see how people can use this feature with wider audience and YouTube can also give video up loaders an option on if videos should be allow to be watched in safety mode or not.

YouTube has one page for popular Bollywood movies that allows users to watch full length popular Hindi movies on YouTube. These are full length movies not movies clips so you can connect your computer to the Television screen and watch full length Bollywood movies. vimeo HTML5 video works only with latest versions of Safari, Chrome, or IE with Chrome Frame installed. It cannot go full screen. Unfortunately this is a limitation of the browsers right now. vimeo is working on adding at least full-window support. HTML5 video player only works on vimeo.com no embed option is available. Finally vimeo video player is in beta and it might be buggy.
YouTube is introducing an experimental version of HTML 5 supported video player on YouTube. HTML5 is a new web standard that is gaining popularity rapidly and adds many new features to your web experience. Most notably for YouTube users, HTML5 includes support for video and audio playback. This means that users with an HTML5 compatible browser, and support for the proper audio and video codec’s can watch a video without needing to download a browser plugin. HTML 5 supported video player does not support videos with ads and full screen support.
As of now HTML 5 supported video player work only with Google Chrome ,Apple Safari (version 4+) and Microsoft Internet Explorer with Chrome Frame installed. It won’t work in Firefox,Even though Firefox supports HTML <video> feature but it does not support H.264 Codec. Even in the browsers that do support it, the HTML5 player is a pale copy of the Flash-based one. A lot of features are missing and some things aren’t as smooth as you’d expect.

YouTube will offer live streaming of Indian Premier League season 3 matches and there will be an ‘On-Demand’ option too. All 60 games of IPL Season 3 2010 scheduled between March 12 to April 25. will be broadcast live on YouTube. This is the first time that Google will be streaming a major global sporting tournament live. On demand videos, special content (which includes match highlights), player interviews, wickets of the match, top sixes of the match, award ceremony, pitch reports, etc will be available to viewers.

Today while watching Funny videos on YouTube i clicked on Ad that is for creating Cartoons characters but when i clicked on the Ad the , Ad website is asking me to install an Active X control on my pc and my antivirus program is also showing warning message.
When i was on malicious website, it is showing me messages like my PC is at high risk and scan with malicious website scanner.
This might be because of the fact the AdSense is most widely used Ad Serving program and YouTube is word largest Online video serving website.
YouTube is running Microsoft Silverlight in CBS’s dedicated channel for March Madness. In the CBS YouTube Channel located here: http://www.youtube.com/marchmadness there’s an embedded Sliverlight player which appears to be just the same as the one running on the free March Madness on Demand site.
