Most of the people using Internet are also using the E-mail. Most of the time Here are some basic email practices that will help E-Mail users to effectively use their email and these practices can also be used in organization to help their employees to properly utilize their E-Mail resources.

Effective Subject Line: The idea behind the subject line is that it should able to summarize the complete E-Mail. Avoid using long subject line, most of the time they are not fully displayed on E-Mail’s subject box. Avoid use of Uppercase letters in complete subject line, use first letter upper case.

Properly Use CC and BCC: BCC is best option when you are sending E-Mails to a a group of people who don’t know each other. Use CC option when you want to notify some thing to other senders also.

Black List Spam Emails: Deleting spam email’s won’t solve your problem of Spam emails. Add spam email senders to black list of your email client so that next time they don’t spam you email address.

Use Secure File Types: Use file types like Rich Text format or PDF instead of Word Document. Don’t open attachments from unknown senders. Always scan attachments before opening them. Always save attachments to your hard drive before opening them.

Protect Email Address: Don’t use your personal or official email address to subscribe with news letters or with forums. Create an email account for using that with news letter and other subscription services.
