Favicons are an excellent free branding tool for webmasters and blog owners. They help you create brand awareness by displaying a little favorite icon (Favicon) in the title of our blog next to the URL. I am also want to have a Favicon for my blog but getting a Favicon is to pay a designer to create a matching icon for your blog and then having to edit some files in WordPress. or you have to search for any Favicon convertor. but you can also use a Plugin to get a Favicon for your blog or website.

Favicon Plugin contain around 100 Favicons but you can also add Favicons from your computer or any other URL. Looking for some more Favicons then you can also browse some website’s also.

How to setup Favicon Plugin

  • Download the Favicon WordPress Plugin
  • upload Plugin to wp-content/plugins directory
  • Activate the Plugin
  • Install the Plugin and go to: Options >> MBP Favicon

    I was using some favicon for my blog abhisays, but I don’t know what happened it is not working now. So for a few days I was in search of good plugin for favicon. Actually favicons are very important if you want your blog to have unique identity on internet. Thanks Ajay for posting such a wonderful information.
