Gmail is Now Featured Rich


Google has added a lot of new features to his Mail service that is Gmail. Gmail has now added Colored labels,Group Chat, New Emotions, Free IMAP Support,View as slide Show,Embarrassment reducing new message notifications,Forward all and Get mail from other accounts. .Some of the features are already known to you .Now Have a closer look at each of these features

Colored Labels : Color labels will help users to organize mails in a better way. Choose different label colors for different mail categories. Just click the color swatch next to each label to assign a color.

Group Chat: Now Gmail users can chat in groups with their friends and also no need to open multiple window.To start a group chat, click ‘Group chat’ from the ‘Options’ menu when chatting.

New Emotions: Some more New Emotions has been added in Gmail. Users can send these New Emotions using semicolon and brackets.

Free IMAP: Users now can sync your in-box across devices instantly and automatically. Whether you read or write your email on your phone or on your desktop, any changes that you make to Google Mail will be seen from anywhere you access your in-box.

View as Slide- Show : Mail that has PowerPoint attachments can be view as powerboat slide show without opening the powerboat attachments.Just click "View as slide-show" next to the .ppt attachment you want to preview.

Embarrassment reducing new message notifications: Ever replied to a message only to find out that someone sent a better, smarter reply right before you? Now, if someone sends a reply while you’re in the middle of reading a conversation (or replying to it), you’ll get a notification that a new message has arrived. Click "update conversation" to see what you’ve missed.

Forward All : Now Gmail also offering Forward all feature. Gmail users can use the new "Forward all" link on the right if you want to forward the entire conversation instead of just one message.

Get mail from other accounts: Now Google Mail can check for the mail you receive at your other email accounts. You can retrieve your mail (new and old) from up to five other email accounts, and have them all in Google Mail. Then you can even create a customized ‘from’ address, which lets you send messages from Google Mail, but have them look like they were sent from another one of your email accounts. Please note that you can only retrieve mail from accounts that have POP3 access enabled.

    Have you tried Gmail’s application fpor mobile phones? It’s probably the most useful Java application on my mobile phone. IMAP would work, of course, or even POP, but this little application is simple and brilliant. Makes most of Gmails useful features available on the move :)
