How Google Bot Read Web Pages and Optimize WebPages for Google Bot
All most all webmasters has one query, I.e. how Google crawl our web pages? After searching on Google it self I found some good facts and figures how Google bot crawl Websites and web pages.
Google bot start crawling web pages from top left corner to bottom right corner of web pages. Most Websites that I found over the internet are designed in such way that they have links on the left side and content on right hand side. The problem with this design is that your website links are come first in contact with Google crawler, so website links are get optimized for Google instead of website content.
There are might be one solution for this use links on both sides of your web pages and put content in-between both links. While using this approach put an extra blank pane on top left of your layout and don’t put keywords on this extra pane. When Google bot start crawling WebPages it find that there are no links because of “Extra Blank Pane” so it will start crawling the content and you would get a content rich web page rather then a link rich web page.
This is not the way that all search engines working. These techniques will only optimize web pages for Google. It would be good idea to design web pages in such a way that content is get crawled first instead of any other thing on web pages. If you are not using this approach then, you aren’t giving yourself the best opportunity to rank highly in Google search engine listings.

Sidebar is perfect in IE7, IE8 and in Firefox. only problem it has with IE6

IE 6 will have a problem, in my case it is the header. It is because IE 6 renders sites differently or not according to standards if I may so. A lot of themes and sites use the IE 6 style sheet method, wherein they have a different style sheet for IE 6.
Honestly, don’t worry. Forget IE 6. I have not even bothered to optimize my site for IE 6. It is simply not worth the time.
On topic, I have heard that these Search Engines time to time update/change their algos. So what is relevant today might not be tomorrow.
