How to Backup Firefox Profiles

Taking backup of Firefox profile is really a painful job if you try to it manually. It’s very easy also to by just locating the Firefox directory on your computer and copy that Firefox profile and take a backup and now you can use this Firefox profile to some other computer or you can can use it your own computer. But there is also one free utility available that can do all the backup and restore task for you. it’s MozBackup. MozBackup can also be used to take backup of Firefox,Thunderbird,SeaMonkey,Mozilla Suite and Netscape browsers backup.

How to use MozBackup

Download and Install MozBackup.
Launch MozBackup. it will ask you weather you want to take back up or restore from the earlier backup.

Select profile for creating the backup and also select the file location where you want to create the backup for your browser.

It’s all done.

MozBackup backups and restores others extensions too but if these extensions create new files in your user profile with setting, MozBackup doesn’t backups these files.
